Black Friday Madness!

*I do not own image used, all rights go to creator*
Black Friday is one of the times where you can sometimes grab some really good bargains! Last year I was stuck in work so wasn't able to go to the sales. However this year I was well prepared I saved up and put myself on a spending ban until the day as well as making sure I wasn't working.

A lot of shops had already started some online Black Friday deals which I managed to get an order in before it all got cleared out. ASOS did have a good deal on you could get 20% off everything and this was a offer which lasted from Thursday all through the weekend. I will do a post on the stuff I got when it arrives.

I was dreading going actual shopping in case it would be hectic but it wasn't that bad especially compared to last year. I think that was mainly because not many places did join in with Black Friday but the ones that did they had some really good offers, Kiko was one of them that I would personally say was one of my favourite offers you could buy 3 items and then get 3 free, I had never been into Kiko before but I was amazed and I am really looking forward to trying the stuff out I managed to get my hands on some of the Christmas Edition collection. What I got from Kiko I will cover in another post so you can admire the beauty better!

The shopping didn't stop I had been bitten by the bug and ended up going to another shopping centre later on that night just to see if I could pick up anymore good bargains which I did get a new lip liner from MAC as they had 10% off beauty in Debenhams. There wasn't majorly anything on offer that I got but I did pick up a few bargains.

Everyone hates the thought of Black Friday but I love it, maybe I'm just a lover of bargains but who isn't? If you can get something 50% or even 20% cheaper it's a bonus and at the end of the day you may have broke your bank a little but at least you managed to save some money. This is ideal for people who need to get Christmas shopping but want to try save as much money as possible. It's even better now because a lot of places have online shopping and the deals last all weekend so even if you can't make the sales you can still grab yourself a bargain online.

I will try do posts on the stuff I got but because I got quite a lot I don't want to make this post a really long one, so I will probably split it all up a bit and make it into a few posts.

Did you get any good bargains? Let me know in the comments below!

Until Next Time.

⛄ German Christmas Market ⛄

There is nothing that can get you in the Christmas mood like the German Christmas Market. The Christmas lights, mulled wine, beer and being able to get all wrapped up looking around the small stalls. Which I'd like to add are definitely quirky in their own way. You can pick up some nice gifts from the German Market if you want to give a present with it's own added touch which can't be found everywhere, it gives it that little more personal sense to it with them usually being a one off.

I have been to the Christmas market before and the one thing to always catch my eye is the candles, nothing new there because I am always buying candles. So I decided to buy some they were adorable with them being Christmas themed and I thought why not it was 10 for £12, or 1 for £1.50 so I thought why not may aswell get 10 plus I think it would have been quite hard to just pick a couple.

From looking around this year I noticed that honey and beeswax is a big thing, from beeswax candles to honey alcohol which my friend did get she got 'Hot Honey Mead' which in my opinion was very weird, it smelt like vinegar and cough medicine weird mix I know. From having a sip of this it was alright but the aftertaste was weird not bad but weird, luckily I didn't get one for myself as I wouldn't have been able to drink all that myself.

The food there is amazing it's the usual potato cakes, garlic bread, german sausage etc or sweet treats like popcorn, sweets and waffles. They do some amazing marshmallows which are HUGEE! however I can't eat these with me being a vegetarian but my mum and sister did get some, sadly I wasn't quick enough to get a picture of these before they got eaten.

Hopefully I will be going back to the German Christmas Market with my friends so I will be able to pick up some more things hopefully, it's such a lovely atmosphere and it just gets you in the Christmas spirit.

Until Next Time,

The Hunger Games; Mockingjay Part 2 Review!

So I took a week away from this because I just got super busy and needed to sort some stuff out. However I did go and see The Hunger Games; Mockingjay Part 2 which I am going to talk about in this blog post, so bare with me as this will be a short post but I don't want to spoil it for anyone.

So if you have never seen The Hunger Games a brief backstory to it is that there is 12 districts but soon you find out about a district 13 which got destroyed by the Capitol, the Capitol is where all he wealthy, high class people live. A male and female is picked from each district and then they go through training and eventually get put against each other to fight until only one person is left alive which is also known as the Hunger Games, this has been the case for many years. If you haven't yet watched any of the Hunger Games I recommend you do because they're amazing! If you have liked movies such as Divergent and The Maze Runner they are quite similar to the Hunger Games.

Anyways the finally came out the 20th November, a date which I had been waiting for since last year after watching Mockingjay Part 1. I wasn't impressed with Part 1 as to me it seemed it lacked some action, but obviously all the action is in Part 2 similar to how they did it with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

It was amazing though I never really knew how I thought it was going to end but the way it ended did surprise me I didn't think it would go the way it did. My friend actually agreed with me on this we both didn't expect it to be that way. I don't want to give away too much as some of you might not have seen it, or might be thinking about watching the Hunger Games and I want you to have the same experience I did however you won't be having to wait as long hahaha!

All I will say is you will feel a bunch of different emotions so be prepared to jump out of your skin, cry and be on the edge of your seat. This is just from my experience. Something as big as the Hunger Games in my opinion needed to be finished with an amazing last movie which they did of course give us, it's quite sad that it has all ended now I feel like I did after Twilight ended like what do I do now? All the big movies I had watched have been completed. I'll have to keep an eye out for new movies coming out or potentially read the Hunger Games books and compare them to the movie.

Have you seen Mockingjay Part 2? What did you think? Let me know in the comments!

Until Next Time,

GlossyBox - November Edition!

If you have read my past posts you might know I subscribed to a few beauty boxes, GlossyBox is another box which I subscribed to the other month, I have heard a lot about the products which GlossyBox send out with them being either well known or upcoming brands. GlossyBox is partners with a lot of brands which many people have heard of which is an added bonus.

What you get in the box;

Eylure Natural Lashes - when I saw these in the package it was a coincidence because later that day I had been talking to my friend about false eyelashes and how I have ever really tried them out, but obviously I didn't want to spend the money on something like that if I wasn't going to like them and it be a waste of money. So I am definitely looking forward to trying these out! These were a full size product. RRP £5.

Emite Diamond Heart Primer - when I saw this primer I got the impression that it would be a high end product from the packaging. On the leaflet you get with the products it says that the primer is used to balance out skin tone, boost radiance and gives a smooth finish which all primers do. I am looking forward to trying this out as I have mentioned before that I like to try out new primers to try and find the best one for me. This was a trial size product. RRP £25.90.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick - The shade I got in my package was '415 - Pink in the Afternoon ' it is a nice pinkey shade and it is definitely a shade I would wear, it is very moisturising so it doesn't dry your lips out with a high shine gloss. The lipstick is infused with Vitamin E and Avocado Oil which makes it moisturising. This was a full size product. RRP £7.99.
Royal Apothic Body Lotion - I have never bothered with body lotions because I can never have the energy to put them on, this smells really nice though and I have yet to use this item. This should be used when you have damp skin so it seals in moisture. Lactic Acid is in this lotion to help keep skin moisturised during the cold winter months. This was a travel size product. RRP £14.50.

MUA Eyeshadow Palette - The shades in this palette are the perfect nudes/gold and browns with a range of matte colours and shimmery colours. With this palette it is a good multi use on the go palette as you can change from a day to a night look by just adding a darker colour or a bit of shimmer. I have used MUA before and they have really good pigmented eyeshadows. They are a drugstore brand so they're fairly cheap and affordable for everyone. I think I will get a lot of use out of this palette. This was a full size product. RRP £4.

Overall I personally prefer GlossyBox over YouBeauty. Yes GlossyBox is more expensive with it being £10 a month, but I feel that the products you get are worth the money. Obviously some of the products you get in the YouBeauty boxes are good I just personally prefer GlossyBox.

What did you think to the GlossyBox this month?

Until Next Time.

MAC Enchanted Eve Christmas Collection

Every year MAC Cosmetics bring out a Christmas range which will last until the New Year. One piece of the MAC Christmas collection always makes it way onto my Christmas list, last year was the Keepsakes collection which I got the nude palette I can't remember the name of it.

The 2015 Christmas range is amazing, I instantly fell in love with it and needed it all! The theme this year was based around purples, blues and nudes giving it that night out vibe. I decided to treat myself to a few bits because knowing my luck it would be out of stock when I have time to get it, just like the 'Oh Darling' highlight I was too late to get that which sucks.

Enchanted Eve Eyes in Warm £32.
When it comes to eyeshadows I tend to be quite boring and play it safe, always sticking to warm tones and nudes. However I needed this palette it is pretty much like my Keepsakes palette with the same warm tone. The other colours you could get in this range were the mauve and navy palette.

The 6 eyeshadows you get:
- Seasonal Spirit
- Moodmaker
- Sax Appeal
- Bewitchin'
- Charcoal Brown
- Retrospeck

MAC eyeshadows are amazing quality so I know I won't be let down with these! I love the size of this palette it is ideal for travelling with it being easy to slip into a pocket. The mirror is also a added bonus with it being fairly big making it perfect for when you're doing your eye make up on the go. This product overall is really good quality and has all the little added details, the packaging itself and the magnetic seal making it easy to open and close.

Enchanted Eve Eye Bag in Neutral £39.50.
Originally I wasn't going to get the eye set in the Enchanted Eve range but I was going to buy the paint pot and mascara anyways, so thought I may aswell save some money and get more items. The other two sets were quite similar to this apart from they differed in the paintpot and fluidline with purples and then blues.

In the set you get;
- Painterly Paint Pot
- Dipdown Fluidline Eyeliner
- False Lashes in False Black
- Double Ended Brush with an eyeshadow and liner brush.
- Make Up Bag

What you get in this set is a good value for money and would be the perfect Christmas present for any make up lover. I am excited to use the False Lashes mascara because my first ever mascara from MAC I loved - but it was limited edition so sadly I couldn't get it again. I have been wanting to try the Painterly paint pot for so long after hearing so many people give it good reviews.

Enchanted Eve Lip Bag in Nude £34.
You might be thinking I have gone with nudes again, this set was really the only one I would personally go for that I know I would wear. The other two you could get were a bright pink or red these looked amazing but not for me hahaha,

In the set you get:
- Creme Cup Cremesheen Lipstick
- Boldly Bare Lip Pencil
- Cherry Blossom Lipglass
- Make Up Bag

I have never been let down with MAC lipsticks, you could probably tell if you knew how many I own, trust me it's not healthy. However I can't say much about the lip liners as I have never tried them but I have heard all good things about them, so hopefully I won't be disappointed. Can I just add the bags I got given were amazing they were to go with the Guo Pei collection.

MAC's collection this year is one of my favourites, all the packaging has an edgy clubbing vibe but it's still very classy. I might do a review on some of the products in future posts if I remember. I can definitely say it was a good spend which was worth it!

Did you get any of the new collection? Are you going to get any if so what? I'd love to know so drop me a comment!

Until Next Time.

My Christmas List!

This year with me getting a full time job I have been able to buy a lot of things myself so I don't have to wait for Christmas or my birthday. But I thought I would do a Christmas List to share with you all and to have for my own recollection because I usually end up forgetting what I want.

- MAC Brave Lipstick
- MAC Mehr Lipstick
- MAC Syrup Lipstick
- Zoella Mini Fizz Bars Trio
- Zoella Cosy Toesy Set
- Zoella Rose Gold Vanity Case
- Zoella Two Balmy
- Zoella Bath Bombinis
- Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish
- Anything Pug, Disney Princess, Frozen or Minions related

This is a pretty small list and I will probably have bought some of this myself before it even gets to Christmas, I can't help it hahaha!

What do you want for Christmas? Leave a comment I would love to know what you're wanting for Christmas.

Until Next Time.

Banana and Chocolate Cake

I'm writing this while eating my Banana and Chocolate cake and I can tell you it's amazing! I love banana bread and I have been craving it for ages, but with this I decided to add a twist of chocolate because what more can you possibly want in a cake. Chocolate and Banana? YUM! This recipe is quick and easy so anyone can make this whether you're a Great British Bake Off Expert or a more of a novice in the baking department.

What you will need;
- 100g or 4oz Butter
- 100g or 4oz Caster Sugar
- 100g or 4oz Self Raising Flour
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 4 tbsp Cocoa Powder (use as much as you want)
- 2 Banana's, Mashed
- a dash of milk (only if the mixture is quite dry)

Preheat your oven at 180°or Gas Mark 4.

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Measure out your self raising flour along with baking powder and cocoa powder.

Beat eggs in one at a time, adding a little of the dry ingredients in.

Gently mix the remaining dry ingredients into the mixture.

Taking your two banana's peel these and mash, adding them into the mixture.

Once everything is mixed in fully, line a tin with greaseproof paper in my case I used a rectangle tin but you can use whichever you like.

Empty your mixture into the tin making sure you smooth out the mixture so it fills the tin.

Pop this in the oven for around 40 minutes or until it looks cooked and the top once pressed bounces back up. I use a skewer in the middle just to test that everything is cooked, if it comes out with no mixture on it that means it's perfectly cooked.

Take out of the oven and leave to cool in the tin.

When it's cool enough cut yourself a generous piece with a cup of tea mmm! I hope you enjoy making this as much as I did and I hope it turns out just as nice!

Until Next Time.

YouBeauty Discovery Box - November Edition

Beauty box subscriptions have always been a favourite of mine, you never know what you're going to get so it's like getting a present every month! (and I love getting presents haha)
I subscribed to the YouBeauty Discovery Box a few months ago and I love the concept of it, these beauty boxes have a difference to them. You get emailed a list of products which you pick two every month, they then get sent out to you in a little box along with some added extra treats for you to try out.

In my box this month I decided I was going to try the following products;
Dr.Organic Royal Jelly Eye Serum (£9.49 for 15ml) - for a while I had been looking for an eye serum but never knew which one to go for, so seeing this come up on the list I could pick from I thought why not. It's worth a try right? The serum is said to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, reduce under eye puffiness, reduce dark circles and promote cell regeneration. This is ideal because this serum does everything that you would want an eye cream to do. The size I got is 15ml this is going to last me a long time because when using eye creams, you never need much of the product. I am looking forward to using this!
Jane Iredale Smooth Affair Primer & Brightener (£36.00 for full size) - primers have always been something that I would buy loads of just to try them out, so being a love of primers I decided to try the Jane Iredale Smooth Affair Primer & Brightener. The added bonus being that it is also a brightener which is ideal from hearing about this product - I see it a lot like the MAC strobe cream not saying that it is a dupe for it but it's similar in what it does. The packaging for the product is really nice it's a copper bottle with rose gold detailing, you don't get a lot of product but you will get a few uses out of it. I have yet to try this but from what I have seen so far I think I am going to be very impressed by it.

The two other extra treats which were added into my box were;
I love...perfectly peachy bath & shower creme - there is one thing I love and it's nice smelling shower creme's and from smelling this I know I'm going to love it. It smells just like peaches and cream with a hint of vanilla. For the sample you get quite a lot of product which you will be able to get a few washes out of it, obviously depending on how much you use each time. I have seen the I love... brand before and getting this sample I will definitely be getting some of this. The good thing about the I love... brand is that they're supporting the CoppaFeel #SHOWERHIJACK campaign which is an organisation that helps women learn the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, so it's all for a good cause - especially with it being in beauty boxes it gets the message out to a lot of females.

DHC Alpha - Arbutin White Mask - I have never heard of the DHC brand but from reading the booklet you get with your box it is a Japanese brand. I have yet to use the Arbutin White Mask but from reading that it fights dullness and discolouration I am excited to try it just to see if it works. I will do a follow up review of this mask when I have used it with my thoughts.

What you get in these boxes are definitely worth the money, with it being only £6.95 per month and you get to try new products from brands which aren't that well known or recognisable brands. You get the freedom too from when you're able to pick what you want to try - so you aren't getting products which you wouldn't ever think of using.

I hope you liked this post, I will be doing these monthly. Leave a comment and tell me what you think.

Until Next Time,

Paige x

October Favourites!

So October's over, November's here. I thought I would share with you my favourites from October, some of these have been my favourites for over a month I would have done them in past favourites but with me not actually starting this blog until the end of October when I was able to actually sit and put the time and effort into this, but these products have continued to be a favourite for over a month.

Clinique Contour Chubby Stick - I wanted to purchase this for so long after seeing Emily Canham (imhereforever on YouTube) using it and giving it nothing but good reviews. But I didn't want to spend the money if I wasn't going to like it, so like any person I waited till I was going on holiday and got it in Duty Free for less.
This is something I have reached for whenever I do my make up whether it's being used on it's own or as a base under my contour, it's easily blendable and you don't need that much on for it to give the desired look. I have quite fair skin and this works well with my skin tone but I have seen it used on so many different skin tones which is an added bonus.

Avon Anew Mascara and Serum - Hearing about different serums to use on eyelashes I never thought they would actually work, but I have been corrected the Avon Anew Serum is a god send it actually works! I use this whenever I put mascara on now this has done nothing but make them look even better.
The serum is said to strengthen your eyelashes and make them look fuller which I agree it does. Using the mascara along with this serum is the best combination I have worn no other mascara since I got this. I am not really keen on plastic wands when it comes to mascara I personally prefer the bristles, but this is amazing the wand makes sure you can get every lash and gives it a good coverage without it looking too clumpy. I am really happy that I decided to purchase this because I will definitely be repurchasing this.

Zoella Wonder Hand - Been the type of person that never really bothered with hand cream unless I really needed it, but after getting the Zoella Wonder Hand I don't know why I haven't been using it more often because my hands feel amazing! Especially with my job my hands are prone to getting dry especially now with it getting to winter.
Before I bought this I was worried that it would be strong smelling and with this having the same scent as Zoella's original collection which I wasn't very keen on.I didn't want it to be too strong for me. But to my surprise it isn't strong smelling at all. The one thing everyone needs in a good hand cream is that it's fast drying especially if you're on the go and can't be waiting around for it to sink in which luckily this one dries really fast leaving your hands feeling amazingly hydrated.

MAC Yash Matte Lipstick - MAC lipsticks are my ultimate favourite lipstick ever, if I could I would buy every shade possible. I am one to go for nudes, pinks and browns.
Yash is one of my most recent purchases and I don't know why I didn't find out about this sooner, this has been one of my new favourites from MAC I had never heard much about it unlike Velvet Teddy which everyone has hyped about and I agree on the hype it's amazing. Yash has taken over my love for Velvet Teddy it's the perfect nude and ideal if you don't want a lipstick that needs to look perfect for it to look good.

I'd love to know what your favourites from October are, let me know in the comments.

Until Next Time.

Girl Online Tour - Meeting Zoella/Book Signing!

The other day I was lucky enough to be able to meet one of my idols, Zoella aka Zoe Sugg. She is one of the most down to earth people I know and dead sweet, I honestly didn't think I would ever meet her. Until she released her book signing tour dates for Girl Online On Tour and she was coming to my city. I got the tickets for my sister's birthday present but I also wanted to go so it was an added bonus that I got a gift out of it.

The signing was at the Waterstones in town, and from going to Alfie's book signing I was expecting to be queuing for a while, but this one I was queuing for around an hour which compared isn't long at all. It was a lot more relaxed and not so cramped like at Alfie's, you didn't get chance to take a picture with Zoe but that's understandable when they have so many people to get through. I took Girl Online with me in hope I could also get that signed which I could thankfully, this did mean I got longer with Zoe but everyone seemed to get the same length of time.

The bracelet you receive is just at the top.

After meeting Zoe you got a tour poster with all the book signing tour dates on and a fabric wristband which had "Girl Online On Tour Zoe Sugg" on it. Ideal added extra which can be like a memory of the day along with of course a signed copy of the book. When the Girl Online On Tour pre orders came out I was on holiday at the time but I was lucky enough to get a pre order of a signed copy just incase she wasn't going to come to my city on her book tour or that I couldn't go to it, so I now have 2 signed copies.

I started reading Girl Online On Tour as soon as I got it in the post, I am about half way through and it's amazing. The storyline is perfect and a good flow on from Girl Online, so if you haven't read Girl Online I recommend reading that before Girl Online On Tour. The book in general makes you feel a rollercoaster of emotions which you get this from both books.

Have you read Girl Online On Tour? What are your thoughts? Let me know what you think in the comments.

Until Next Time.

⛄ Lush Christmas Products ⛄

L-R Snow Fairy, Candy Mountain, Peeping Santa, Magic Wand, Yog Nog and Father Christmas

It's getting to that time of year when Lush starts to bring out their Christmas range. This is one of my favourite times of the year and it definitely gets me in the Christmas spirit. So I decided to grab some before I missed my chance.

The Peeping Santa (bubble bar) £3.95 - I haven't seen this one before in Lush but it's definitely a new favourite of mine, the cute design of this bubble bar is a Santa peeking out from under his hat which has small red hearts on. It has a sweet smell of strawberries which isn't too over powering, I don't quite understand what strawberries have to do with Christmas, but I'm not complaining I love it!

Candy Mountain (bubble bar) £2.95 - this always reminds me of the unicorn horn which Lush brought out, this is another sweet smelling bubblegum candy bubble bar. This is very girly with the pink and white swirl and the added glitter.

Father Christmas (bath bomb) £3.65 - this is an old favourite at Lush. If you like Snow Fairy you will love this as this bath bomb has the same scent but it's not as strong so this might be better for some people who aren't a big fan of Snow Fairy if it's too strong for them. The bath bomb is just red and white with Santa's face being the bath bomb itself.

Yog Nog (bath bomb) £3.95- the Yog Nog bath bomb is one of my personal favourites, the smell of toffee, caramel and spices which to me is the true smell of Christmas. They also have a Yog Nog soap which they also have out throughout Christmas. On the bath bomb it is a golden/yellow and white colour with Christmas patterns such as Christmas Trees and Stars around it.

Star Magic Wand (bubble bar) £5.25- the pink star covered in silver glitter is the perfect bubble bar which can I add is reusable, all you need to do is swirl it around your bath and it will fill your bath with bubbles. Even down to the detailing it has a small silver bell with a ribbon, when using it in your bath it makes everything that little bit more magical. It's like Snow Fairy on a stick!

Snow Fairy (body wash) £12.95 for 500g - everyone and their dog knows about Snow Fairy and it comes back year after year, you have to make sure you get enough of it before it's gone. The sweet candy bubblegum smell fills the bathroom for hours after you have used it.

Christmas products at Lush need to be sweet smelling and contain plenty of glitter (what more could you want) of course Lush have manage to achieve this year after year!

What are your Lush favourites at Christmas? Is there any I need to try?

Until next time.
